When purchasing a Ticket for themselves and/or a fellow passenger with discounts or benefits provided by the state, passengers must carry the original document confirming their entitlement to the discount or benefit during the journey.

1. Discounts and concessions for passengers are applied in accordance with the Law on Transport Concessions of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. The Law on Transport Concessions of the Republic of Lithuania establishes the categories of persons eligible for passenger transport concessions, the types of concessions, the procedure for compensating passenger transport costs, and the procedure and sources for compensating carriers for lost revenue related to the provision of concessions.

3. The Law on Transport Concessions of the Republic of Lithuania applies to travel on:

- long-distance regular bus services;
- local (urban and suburban) regular bus and trolleybus services;
- passenger trains (in 2nd and 3rd class seating cars, when the starting and final;
- stations are within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania);
- regular ship and ferry services.

4. When purchasing a Ticket for themselves and/or a fellow passenger with discounts or benefits provided by the state, passengers must carry the original document confirming their entitlement to the discount or benefit during the journey.

Required document:

1. Discount for children and students. If there is no doubt regarding the child’s age, no document is required.
In other cases, including if the person is enrolled in a general education or vocational training institution and is over 18 years of age, please have one of the following documents with you during the trip:
- a birth certificate or personal identification document;
- a student ID card issued by the Republic of Lithuania;
- an ISIC international student ID card;
- a document confirming student status issued by a member state of the European Union, a state of - the European Economic Area, or another foreign country.

2. Discounts for university students and vocational school students. To prove eligibility for the discount during your trip, please present one of the following documents:
- a Lithuanian student ID;
- a European Student Card;
- an ISIC international student ID card;
- a document confirming student status issued by a European Union member state;
- a document confirming student status issued by a European Economic Area country;
- a document confirming student status issued by the Swiss Confederation.

3. Family discount. One or both parents, adoptive parents, or guardians (caregivers) traveling with a child (or children) must have an identity document (or documents) with them during the trip.

4. Senior discount. To prove eligibility for the discount during the trip, please carry an old-age pensioner’s certificate or a document confirming your age.

5. Discounts for passengers with special needs. To verify your eligibility for a discount during your trip, please present one of the following documents:
- a disability certificate;
- a certificate of work capacity due to a work-related accident or occupational disease;
- a certificate of disability level;
- a certificate for individuals who require regular hemodialysis treatment and their accompanying persons (one accompanying person per individual).
