1. General Provisions:
1.1. In accordance with the Road Transport Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Rules for the Carriage of Passengers and Luggage by Road Transport, non-electric bicycles and scooters may be transported on buses and trains.

2. Key Terms:
Bicycle – a two-wheeled vehicle propelled by the muscular power of the rider using pedals. Wheelchairs are not classified as bicycles.
Electric bicycle (e-bike) – a two-wheeled vehicle propelled by the muscular power of the rider using pedals and equipped with an auxiliary electric motor with a maximum net power output not exceeding 250 W, and a maximum design speed of no more than 25 km/h. Wheelchairs are not classified as electric bicycles.
A scooter is a land vehicle propelled by human power.
An electric scooter is a land vehicle powered by human effort and an electric motor, designed for traveling short distances in the city.
A carrier is a company registered in accordance with the law and authorized to transport passengers and luggage.

3. Rules for transporting bicycles and scooters on intercity buses and trains:
3.1. Electric, motorized, tricycles, tandem, and BMX bicycles, as well as electric scooters, are prohibited on buses and trains.
3.2. Requirements for bicycles:
3.2.1. Bicycles being transported must be clean and in good working order.
3.2.2. All additional equipment that could fall off during the journey must be removed from the bicycle (e.g., child seats, panniers, etc.).
3.2.3. The bicycle frame, seat, and other parts that may be damaged during transport must be protected from damage.
3.3. Requirements for scooters
3.3.1. Scooters being transported must be clean and in good working order.
3.3.2. All additional equipment that could fall off during the journey must be removed from the scooter.
3.3.3. The scooter’s frame and other parts that may be damaged during transport must be protected from damage.
3.4. To protect a bicycle or scooter during transport, the passenger must ensure proper protection (e.g., wrap it in special plastic wrap or other protective material).
3.5. During the summer season, bicycles are transported on the outside of the bus in specially designated areas (on racks) or, if space is available, in the bus’s luggage compartment. During other seasons, bicycles may be transported in the luggage compartment if space is available at the time.
3.6. Bicycles are secured to and removed from the rack by the driver, with the bicycle owner present and assisting.

4. Bicycle Ticket Prices, Reservations, and Transportation with Transfers:
4.1. The Carrier shall specify the price for transporting bicycles and/or scooters at the time of ticket purchase.
4.2. If the Carrier offers the option to reserve bicycle or scooter transport, the reservation fee is non-refundable.
4.3. When changing a ticket to another trip, the bicycle transport reservation is transferred free of charge if bicycle transport is available on the new trip. If this is not possible, the reservation is canceled and the fee is non-refundable.
4.4. When purchasing a trip with a transfer or round-trip tickets, the bicycle transport (reservation) fee applies to each separate leg of the journey.
4.5. A passenger may transport a bicycle without having reserved the bicycle transport service in advance if there are available spaces designated for bicycle transport. When purchasing a ticket at the bus station or from the driver, the passenger may also purchase a bicycle transport ticket if:

- the driver agrees to transport the bicycle in the luggage compartment, provided it is properly packed (so as not to soil other passengers’ luggage) and, if necessary, the front wheel is removed.

- there are available spaces for transporting bicycles, or

5. Final Provisions:

5.1. The carrier is not liable for bicycles becoming dirty or damaged during transport due to road or weather conditions.
5.2. The carrier reserves the right to follow the company’s internal rules regarding the procedures and possibilities for transporting bicycles and scooters.
